Partner in What’s Possible / Owner: Heart of Possibility

amity: [`am-uh-tee] noun

  1. Friendship; Peaceful harmony

  2. Mutual understanding and a peaceful relationship, especially between nations

Amity means friendship and world peace. Sounds about right.

I love helping people grow and seeing even the tiniest shifts of self-discovery, especially when it comes to teams. My style is playful and encourages curiosity, creativity, communication, and connection. I view conflict as a sign that something needs to be revealed and changed. When a team decides how to work through conflict and grow from it, new possibilities open up. The same thing happens when individuals work through their inner conflicts.

Background:

My diverse experience spans over 25 years. In 2022, I earned the California Medal of Merit for efforts in leading the strategic planning process for the California Military Department. My responsibilities included facilitating the planning, development, and writing of strategic plans for the Organization and the Joint Diversity Executive Council.

I served as the lead project facilitator for continuous process improvement initiatives and training. While doing so, I coached teams with leaders of various rank, including General Officers, from multiple departments to cooperatively build actionable plans. Her experience includes leading large and small groups of people.

My previous experience also includes leading teams of instructors, facilitating full day seminars, and emceeing national conferences. I’ve been an independent contractor, a volunteer triathlon coach (GO Team!), and in the very beginning - a classroom teacher. Believe it or not, ALL have contributed experiences and skills to my work.

I launched Heart of Possibility in 2023 to leverage my expertise, training, and passion to support organizations in helping their people and teams thrive.
